Gifts of Membership
Close-Knit, Member Only Experiences
As a member you'll access exclusive experiences like our retreats. Nearly all retreat attendees leave with at least one new relationship that they describe as “deep and transformative.” The like-minded individuals you meet through Seam are more likely to become cherished friendships than one-off connections, as is common in other spaces.
Shape Our Future
At Seam, we are weaving a new social fabric together! There are countless threads of opportunity to get involved. Whether its hosting a local event, leading a workshop at a retreat, or collaborating on off-shoot projects — the possibilities are endless.
Access Mutual Aid & Supports
Core to our Commitment to Equity is accessibility. We are building our community to be accessible to people of all backgrounds. Through dues and grants, Mutual Aid makes our community more accessible. Resources and support can also be used to help you plan your own gathering.
Values-Aligned, Local Resource Bank
Access and contribute to our values-aligned local resource bank filled with hidden gems of places to visit, potential partner organizations, and unique opportunities.
Membership Asks
Participate!
Attend at least one Local Patch Gathering per season and ideally one retreat annually, though we know scheduling will not make this feasible for everyone.
Connect!
Do at least one 1-on-1 with another Member monthly and at least one 1-on-1 with a Member in a different Patch each season.
Contribute!
Lead a local Gathering or add 1 values-aligned resource/experience/event to our seasonal calendar.
Invest!
Invest in our community by making a financial contribution. Dues go towards Mutual Aid, supporting Chapter projects, and offsetting other key costs. Until Spring 2025, membership is FREE for all who sign-up.

Path to Joining
Interest Forms are reviewed on a rolling basis. We have a process to help ensure values-alignment, sense of belonging for all members, transparency, and intentionality—not exclusivity.

We will either invite you to join in this season, ask you to wait a season, or suggest that other communities may be a better fit.

While we ask about identities in your interest form, no one will be categorically included or excluded based on identity.
